Refund policy

Returns
Our return policy is effective for 30 days from the date of purchase. All products bought in-store can be returned within 30 days of reception after notifying Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor of the return and it's reasons if any. Returns complying with all conditions stated below will be met with an in-store credit unless stated otherwise.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that it was received by the buyer, in the original packaging if the product was packaged. Any item that is not in it's original condition, is damaged, or is returned without mention to us within 30 days of reception by the customer may not be returned and it not eligible for a refund. Only the original buyer or legal representative may make a return.

All users of our online store and in-person customers are responsible for the selection of parts in the case of custom builds. Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor and its services such as the online store are not responsible for improper or unsatisfying aesthetic or mechanical selection of parts and/or products made by the customer. Services and deposits are non-refundable.

To complete a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless instructed by our service department. All returns to the manufacturer must be done under Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor instruction. Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor and it's services are in no way responsible for any interaction made between the end customer and manufacturer. All returns will be instructed and supervised by Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor to ensure proper following of manufacturer procedures and respect of warranty conditions. 

If you are unsatisfied with a product that is not custom built, you may return it within 30 days of reception after notifying Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor, which will replace it with a product of equal value minus shipping as long as it respects all conditions stated above and is accompanied with a Proof of Purchase. 

DEFECTS

All defects will be replaced under the manufacturer's limited warranty if applicable with shipping at Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor expense. All returns due to defects must be preceded by communication via email with Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor to be analyzed and approved . If the product is shipped back to Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctorwithout approval, it will be sent back at the customer's expense.

Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor's warranty covers all manufacturing defects and abnormal damage following product's intended use. Specifically:

  • Cracks in material and premature rust when product is stored inside at room temperature and exposed to average weather conditions (10 - 35 degrees celsius).
  • Manufacturing defects such as improper welding, premature wear and breakage.
  • Defective paint or premature discoloration.
  • Extreme loss in spoke tension or premature spoke breakage (in which case the wheels can be returned and fixed, rebuilt or replaced with free shipping). 

Under No Condition will Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor be held accountable for damages caused by improper maintenance or use of all products sold in-store wether online or in person.


Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a store credit will automatically be applied to your account, within a certain amount of days. 

If you never received a product, we will automatically refund you after contacting the shipping company. No refunds will be processed if shipped products are marked delivered and/or signed for by the shipping company.


Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at benjamin@spindoctor.bike and send your item to: Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor, 5500 rue Fullum, suite 0202, Montréal QC H2G 2H3, Canada.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Mécanique Cycliste Spin Doctor, 5500 rue Fullum, suite 0202, Montréal QC H2G 2H3, Canada.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, and all conditions above are respected, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

If you are shipping an item over $25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
